PROPERTIES:

Iron is the basic component of the hemoglobin molecule (contained in red blood cells) and of many enzymes that are part of energy metabolism.

It provides the body with a supplement that allows it to fight anemia (intense tiredness due to a lack of red blood cells) and to increase resistance to infections.

Iron is often absent or to be found in very little quantities in vitamin mixtures because it should not be combined with vitamin C.

Iron has too often been neglected, although it is essential to ensure good physiological balance and, consequently, good health in birds.

INDICATIONS:

To be administered as a supplement to vitamin therapies in order to fight against weakening states and infection risks, especially against anemia or death which can be caused by red lice taking the bird’s blood (hematophagy) during lice infestations.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 

1 to 2 teaspoons (10 g) per liter of water or 1 to 2 tablespoons (20 g) per kilo of feed.  

To be administered simultaneously with vitamins for powerful isolated therapy or near permanent light therapy (see VITAMAX).
